Project K for Kindness 2 – Philippine Children Mission

Standard

It was a fine day last Sunday December 12, everything was set and in order… the volunteers know what to do… the gifts and stuff were all collected and wrapped… the pillow bears were already tagged with donors/volunteers name! All set… We then all went to Burol Bulacan, at the Philippine Children Mission residence… a humble house of 18 orphans aging 5-18… they have a thing in common… they are children of leprosy patients at Tala. Since their parents couldn’t take care of them, this Foundation has this mission to rear them. They are all amazingly warm, nice and well-mannered kids. Their guardian, Ate Ellen, is amazingly great having taking care all of them, single-handedly, on meager budget and resources!
It was again a great experience for all of us (my cousins, tsikiting, titas and audit staff went with me). They were all delighted with our gifts and Jollibee food… We played with them, sing with them and just made kwento with them. Saya!
