Cancer Killing Recipe
An inspirational blog of a gracious lady, survivor of a cancer, and loving every minute of her life, every minute of it. In fact, she celebrated her 65th birthday with glee, graciousness and full of gratitude… and she’s looking forward to celebrate her 70th (and beyond)… and the topmost of her concern is doing something good and meaningful everyday, 1825 good deeds to do… and do blogging…. Here’s an excerpt from her blog “my apology.” 🙂 🙂 funny and heart-warming!
“Blogging is great. I have so much more to say. I just wish I can do it a little faster. I’m going to learn. Blogging is the best thing what happened to me. But if I will never get sick, I will never became a Blogger, because I will have nothing to blog about. This is the way I see it.
And as long as I can inspire someone, somewhere, and as long as You are going to “click” and “like”, I’m going to keep Blogging. And Blogging keeps me so busy, that to tell You the truth, I don’t have the time to die of cancer. You see, I have nothing against dying. We all have to die some day….. It is just that I don’t want to die of cancer. And I won’t!
Because no matter what happens to me in the future, this how people in Town will talk about me in the local Diner drinking their morning coffee:
Big John: “You remember the old Lady, Limo Driver with cancer, she died yesterday”.
Old Frank: “She died of cancer?”
Big John: “No. She survived cancer. But She was talking about Blogging”.
Old Frank: “What is Blogging?”
Big John: “I don’t know. But I think this what she died of.”
(I can’t find a photo in her blog, so I took a liberty to insert this photo of another birthday girl, Aliya)
Kindness Girl… Because Kindness Changes Everything…
I love this blogsite! It is full of warmth and goodness and of course, kindness… It chronicles one mum’s ideas, projects and actions of kindness…. Ms. Patience Salgado must have a very big heart and she inspires so many people. BEING kind by itself is one thing but SHOWING kindness either small, menial, random, deliberate, grand or simple, almost everyday and every moment is one great and noble feat. And I admire Ms Salgado’s for her deeds and mission!
See for yourself and be inspired! Kindness Girl…
And one of my favorite entries is about
5 things to do when doors are closing…
By the way, her photographs are amazing too!

As one of items in my new 101 list (that commenced May 13, 2012), I will feature my favorite blogger, each every week. The topics and categories will vary and most of the first few ones are among in my favorites and are actually in my blogroll.
The House of Turquoise – this blog interests me so much as this features home decors and home interiors accented in turquoise, and anything blue, one of my favorite colors. The blogs showcase awesome homes and lovely interiors. I even got some inspiration for my new room upstairs, that I even re-done the paint on the wall when the shade of blue was not the way I wanted. The big room upstairs (currently a playroom, but intended to be my Aliya’s room someday) has a blue turquoise wall that is so refreshing and calming.
