I will count this day a separate life.
I will remember that those who have fewest regrets
are those who take each moment as it comes
for all that it is worth.
Today Series: 21/22
From the Book of Og Mandino: Mission Success (The Seeds of Success)
This quote from this favorite book is what I almost live by as my personal motto… (you see, it is also the tagline of this blogsite….)
This moment is all that we have, time is our companion, we are the maker of our life…
the choice on how we live it is within our power…
I will work convinced that nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
To do anything today that is truly worth doing,
I must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger,
but jump in with gusto and scramble through as well as I can.
First time to enjoy snorkeling…
when I thought I could never try to “swim” without my feet touching the seabed (even in lifevest)…
Now I can! I was enjoying every minute of it.
Today Series 14/22
Proud to say that Papi and I have seen and explored recently the now-famous Puerto Princesa Underground River. I’m sure it will be voted as one of the new 7 nature’s wonders of the world. The place is simply amazing, awesome, grand and mysterious. Proud to be Pinoy!
God, I thank you for this day.
I know I have not accomplished as yet all you expect of me,
and if that is your reason for bathing me in the fresh dew of another dawn,
I am most grateful.
I am prepared, at last, to make you proud of me.
Tsamba Pic: Sunrise! Club Paradise, Coron Palawan
Today I will start my “Today” blog-series, featuring bits from Og Mandino’s “Seeds of Success” from the book “Mission:Success”…
this is my sort of scroll of prayers (with 20 resolutions and lots of appreciation for Today’s gift from God), this I recite almost every morning, and almost know by heart, this prayer guides me through my day (and life)!…
I want now to share this with you!
Today Series 1/22
Club Paradise, Coron Palawan
What a paradise, literally! Club Paradise at Dimakya Island Coron Palawan.
A very awesome vacation treat given by our beloved office. A yearly getaway, but this time “minus” the kids… We regret to leave the kids, but it turned out its better that this paradise needs to be explored by Mom and Papi by themselves first… honeymoon again… :>
For just a glimpse of this beautiful place, here are my “tsamba” photos:
at the sunrise side of the beach (yes, there’s a sunset side and sunrise side, all in one island!)
peaceful and “all-by-ourselves”
the walk on the beach…
…the solitary boat, afternoon delight…
the splendor of nature! the greatness of its Creator!
…we see to it that we watch every sunrise… and pray and be thankful!
More photos and kwento next time!
